Refund, Cancellation & Booking Policy
At Kiwi Driver Tours & Transfers, we aim to provide a seamless and reliable experience for every client. The following terms ensure clarity around bookings, payments, cancellations, and service delivery while supporting smooth operations for our team and drivers.
1. General Conditions
- All rates are quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include all local taxes and airport fees.
- Rates apply to transfers between the airport and the CBD (City Centre) in each city unless otherwise stated.
- Baby and booster seats are available on request at an additional cost.
- A 5% surcharge applies to bookings with arrival or departure times between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.
- 45 minutes of complimentary waiting time is included from your flight’s actual arrival time.
- Additional waiting time beyond 45 minutes may be charged at $2 per minute.
2. Bookings & Payment
- All bookings are subject to availability.
- Full payment is required at the time of booking unless credit terms have been approved.
- Credit terms may be offered to repeat or corporate clients at the discretion of Kiwi Driver Tours & Transfers, based on payment history and reliability.
- Payment can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or other agreed methods.
- Bookings are not confirmed until payment (or credit approval) has been received and a confirmation notice issued.
3. Online Booking System
- Kiwi Driver Tours & Transfers provides an online booking system for the convenience of clients, allowing easy access to booking, confirmation, and tracking of transfers.
- The system may be subject to periodic maintenance or updates to ensure continued reliability and security.
- Clients are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all information provided through the online booking portal, including flight details, pickup times, addresses, and passenger information.
- Kiwi Driver Tours & Transfers is not liable for errors arising from incorrect or incomplete details submitted by clients.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
- More than 48 hours before booking time: No cancellation fee – full refund (minus any payment processing fees).
- Within 24–48 hours of booking time: 50% cancellation fee applies.
- Within 24 hours / no-show: Non-refundable, as the vehicle and driver have been allocated exclusively for your booking.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Transaction and credit-card fees are non-refundable.
5. Multi-Day Tours & Itineraries
For multi-day itineraries or packaged services involving accommodation, attractions, or third-party suppliers:
- More than 14 days before start date: Full refund (minus non-refundable supplier costs).
- 7–14 days before start date: 50% refund.
- Within 7 days: Non-refundable.
Supplier-specific terms and conditions may also apply.
6. Flight Delays & Schedule Changes
We monitor commercial flight arrivals to accommodate reasonable delays:
- Same-day delays: The driver will adjust pickup where possible.
- Major rescheduling (e.g. new flight day/time) may be treated as a cancellation under the above terms.
- Waiting beyond 45 minutes from actual landing time will incur a $2 per minute charge.
7. Amendments
We will always try to accommodate changes to pickup times, destinations, or passenger details.
Amendments within 24 hours of travel are subject to availability and may incur an adjustment fee.
8. Cancellations by Kiwi Driver Tours & Transfers
In rare circumstances (e.g. severe weather, road closures, illness, or operational issues), Kiwi Driver Tours & Transfers reserves the right to cancel a service.
You will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule, with no further liability for indirect or consequential losses.
9. Force Majeure
No refunds or liability apply for cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, pandemics, road closures, airline disruptions, or government restrictions.
